Through several months of archival research, Neelachal took stage, putting together a repertoire performance of Guru Mayadhar Raut’s traditional choreographies. Under the group choreography and direction of Meghna Das, the performance involved dancers Anjali Raj Urs, Swati Prasad, and Akila Venkat, along with an orchestra of highly-acclaimed musicians from Orissa, Sri Binod Panda, Sri Buddhanath Swain, Sri Sanjib Kundu, and Sri Soumya Ranjan Joshi. The performance was staged in Bangalore to a diverse and varied audience and gathered enthusiastic appreciation.
